The United States Army

The United States Army is the main branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of seven U.S. uniformed services. The modern Army has its roots in the Continental Army which was formed on 14 June 1775,before the establishment of the United States, to meet the demands of the American Revolutionary War. The Congress of the Confederation officially created the United States Army on 3 June 1784 after the end of the revolutionary war to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The Army considers itself to be descended from the Continental Army and thus dates its inception from the origins of that force.

This is what your character will be wearing during combat in the RP. Familiarize yourself with the uniform.

Ranks System

No one may be of the rank 1st Lieutenant or Higher. Below are a list of rank you may choose. Not everyone can be a Sergeant or a Lieutenant or Corporal. Please choose realistically. If you choose a rank that we have too many of we will tell you to re rank yourself.

These are the weapons open to the individuals who apply for the United States Army Soldier.

Primary

The M4A1 Standard Combat Assault Rifle

The M21 Combat Sniper Rifle

The M21 Combat Sniper rifle is reserved to the Sharpshooter of the platoon. There are usually two pairs of Sharpshooter teams. A Shooter and a Spotter.

The M249 Squad Automatic Rifle or SAW
Primarily used for support fire.

Secondary

The M9 Berreta 9mm Pistol
