You've just been elected President of your nation, a nation which is in the midst of some economic or energy trouble. Yet all things considered, things seem to be going well. Then on March 11th, 2011, objects break through the Earth's atmosphere, slowing down before impacting with bodies of water near your nation. Soon it is revealed that these arent rocks falling from the sky, they are in fact the means of an alien invasion. With a large portion of the coastal regions evacuated but some civilians still remain, but the aliens are now slowly making their way out of the water and off the beaches. What do you do?

Well first of all, If I had learned that the objects where slowing down before Impact I would order the launch of ICBM's to meet them before they broke the atmosphere, along with Cruise Missiles. I would also order the Immediate Mandatory Evacuation of every citizen in the coastal regions, which m eans kick the door in and pull their asses out of the houses. Then I would Pull my troops out of the cities or away from the coastal regions and order the Carpet Bombing of the Coastal Regions of every location the Aliens Landed to slow their assault. And if the Aliens so much as gain 5 miles inland I would pull my troops out of the city at least by 20 miles and order the immediate nuclear strike of each city.
ALSO On the Economic thing, I would cut back all bay of EVERY congressmen and Senator and Politician.
