Name: Johnathan Calvin Thurber Face Claim Name: Pawel Szajda Appearance: Age: 24 Rank: Private First Class Class: Rifleman History: Johnathan "Johnny" was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Growing up, he spent his time playing football and practicing in the school's band. He developed a musical ear a young age and enjoyed playing varied genres. Through middle school and high school, Johnny played defense in football and sang in the boy's and men's choirs. His grades were alright, good enough for him to be eligible for his activities. After high school, he had some thought about going to continue his education to go into music and fine arts. It would of worked well for him too, if he had not stumbled upon a Marine recruiter. His dress blues caught his eye and the neatness and professionalism he presented did it for him. Learning that there was a Marine Corps band, he signed up, hopping to make it. Things did not go as planned, after BT, he was sent over to Iraq. One tour later, he was shipped to California at Camp Pendleton. He remained there, awaiting his next deployment, until this shit broke out. Personality: PFC Thurber is a very sociable person, not too spontaneous nor too unethical. He does have a wild side when it comes to parties or when with close friends. In combat, a veteran of Iraq, he's focused and knows his role. A top choice for squad leaders, he's got plenty of experience, more than his rank would allow. Weapon(s): Primary: M4A1 w/ optics. Secondary: Berreta 9mm Pistol.

ACCEPTED Welcome to the United States Marine Corps, Private Thurber. As a private first class, important decisions for your survival will have to be made in the face of danger. You will have to follow the direct orders of your platoon leader. As a rifleman, you will have to provide your team with cover fire. You are the core of the platoon, without you nothing could be accomplished. Where to start? You can start out in the pre-war section to develop the relationships between the members of your platoon and other United States soldiers. If you'd rather jump in the thick of it, the war section is open. The USMC are currently stationed at the airport, soon to be deployed in Compton. There is always threads open for the Marines on Highway 405 and Pasadena. At ease, Marine.
